Weight Loss

I joined a local gym in a bid to lose weight. It then became apparent that my way of thinking was that just turning up wasn't enough as I wouldn’t push myself and generally being lazy with my workouts so wasn’t getting very far. I was told about Sean but I was really wary as I was embarrassed with how I had let myself become the way I was and I didn’t want to share that with a stranger. I was wrong, as during the consultation he made me feel at ease and that there was no reason to feel embarrassed. I had made the biggest decision in wanting to change the way I am. It was difficult to start as he pushed me and sometimes I felt like I couldn’t do everything he wanted. But he reassured me that he wouldn’t make me do anything I wasn’t capable of doing. The one statement that sticks is when I said to Sean, “You will never get me to run, this body isn’t built for running”. He reminds me of this now to this day after I completed my first 5k run in June and my first 10k is booked in September. I also completed my climb of Snowdon, something I always thought I wouldn’t be able to do being as unfit as I was. I am not the easiest of clients, constantly saying I can’t do it and I don’t want to do it but Sean tells me every time that I can do it and that I will. Sean is a hands on trainer, always checking how my week is and sending me tips on food and exercises to follow outside our sessions. Your session is not an hour or two a week, he is there all the time. I am still early in my journey with Sean but I know I will achieve my goals with his support and encouragement.
